Hello faithful readers! Between part-time jobs, making pictures, grad school and eating and sleeping, I’ve been chipping away slowly at a new blog/website combination. It is far from finished, but I’ve decided it’s time to at least blog everything over there from now on. It’s an entirely new web address, and I’m not sure the RSS stuff is figured out yet, but I will, and soon.

Please come over to www.lauraelizabethhinely.com and at least the blog feature is working and fully functional and featuring a lovely wedding shot last week.

The BEST and most exciting feature is the giant viewing size of the images. You’ll love it!

Family Gathering

This is the gracious family that let me stay at their house during my first summer grad school residency in LA this summer. The day before I left, I shot a family gathering honoring Katelyn’s graduation from nursing school AND getting a job. She’s kind of inspiring.

It was hard for me to click publish on this puppy because I had so many gems I wanted to include. You may recognize Jasmine from this family photo session (which is undoubtably my favorite I’ve ever shot) and of course she is the sister of my BFF, Rose. I don’t think you can tell in the images but the heat index was 104 on their wedding day in Orlando–despite that the wedding was a party with fun-loving people and some unabashedly tender moments. Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed documenting.

For friends and family–the entire wedding day will soon be here for anyone to purchase prints.

P.S. If you haven’t noticed, I’m back in central Florida for a while and happily accepting any photo jobs that come my way even as I work on grad school so please don’t hesitate to contact me with any projects or commissions.

I’ve been gone again, (imagine that!) this time in Kentucky and I’m going back to Florida tomorrow with no more travel plans…yet. Here’s a quick portrait from last Saturday’s wedding! More to come on Monday.
